We value our students as whole people, not just school children, which is why we take a holistic approach to our school life. We want students to live a full life at school, and beyond, and we have seen great success from our alumni as a result.

PERSONAL FAITH AND DEVELOPMENT

We have programmes for pastoral instruction ( PPI)  every friday , where teachers and students pray , praise,share and worship together.

In all the events we have , we invite the clergy who bless us with and help the learners with spiritual development.

MENTORING

Our children are given mentoring by their teachers, and we have close ties with the parents of our students to help them provide guidance to their children when it comes to matters of personal faith. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to development a personal relationship with God and we include this as part of our school life on a daily basis. 

TREE PLANTING

We were recently gifted over 200 trees by our friends at Tetranet Services, and our students are proud to be cultivating them and learning about how to protect and enrich our environment. We are a community of miners, and we recognise that mining has a largely negative impact on the environment and people around, and so we want to educate our children in how to protect the world and change practices. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We are passionate about having a positive impact on the local community, and so we have days where students give back by clearing litter and doing other jobs in the community ... hopefully you'll get more info on this :)

We are very proud to have stayed connected with so many of our alumni, and to see them come back and become involved in the life of the school in one way or another. Osiri Primary has a long history of returning students, who have gone on to succeed in their chosen field, giving back to the Osiri community. 

We love to host fundraising events for our school and find that alumni are often in attendance, as they have recognised the value of the education and educators that they themselves had.
